St. Marys’ Cali Masters named first team all-state captain in softball
CHARLESTON — It’s been a process for the St. Marys High School softball program of head coach Lacy Riggs. For the first time in school history the Blue Devils not only won the Little Kanawha Conference title, but the program from Pleasants County finally emerged as Class A state champions for the first time ever.

The event attracted avid ATV enthusiasts and passionate supporters alike, with a total of 244 individuals eagerly registered to take part.Organized by the Bucktail Medical Center Relay for Life Team in collaboration with the Central Mountain ATV Association, this event drew ATV enthusiasts and supporters from near and far.

That is the question that plagued Rob and Nicole Thompson, who with their family operate a sheep farm outside of Coudersport. Perfect Weather Sets Stage for 15th Annual Cruise for a Cure ATV Ride in Renovo
The weather could not have been any better for the start of the annual Cruise for a Cure ATV Ride throughout the mountains of Renovo as the 15th annual ride set off on a perfect start. The Bucktail Medical Center Relay for Life Team along with the Central Mountain ATV Association host the event every year and as typical all spots were filled. Approximately 150 machines and 250 total riders and passengers will travel over 50 miles that includes private property roads not typically opened to the public. After the custom trip around Renovo they were off up over Quarter Mile Road and into the woods for the majority of the day.

And the beat goes on! On Saturday, June 1, our trail club crew manned the water station at Mile-19 of the God’s Country Marathon. This is the point where we can tell the runners “only seven more miles, and it’s all downhill.” These marathoners are totally amazing. After running 19 miles and “Conquering the (Denton) Hill,” some of them come cruising by our station like they are just out for a day jog in the park.
