For the second year in a row Funny Car driver and full-time Chicago firefighter Chris King introduced some of his NHRA competitors to the challenges and thrills of being a firefighter leading up to the Gerber Collision & Glass Route 66 NHRA Nationals. Paul Sherrod Taylor, 32, was found guilty earlier this year of aggravated battery to a police officer, threatening a public official, aggravated assault of a police officer and resisting a peace officer.

A Bolingbrook man arrested related to dozens of shots fired along Richards Street on April 18th. Joliet Police arrested 18-year-old Latrell Woodall of Bolingbrook was arrested, processed, and transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility for Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm, Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Possession of a Firearm by a Person Not Eligible to Obtain a FOID Card.
