At Auburn’s 7-on-7 tournament Thursday, Daylyn Upshaw was a standout for Central Phenix City, which lost to Thompson in the finals. As Upshaw made a number of impressive catches — working across from 5-star 2024 Auburn target Cam Coleman — the Tigers’ first-year receivers coach watched from the Central sideline, audibly reacting and shouting encouragement to the 2025 prospect.

Labaron Philon returned to Auburn on Thursday for the first time since his decommitment in April. And you can bet Auburn’s coaches weren’t going to miss him. The Tigers’ entire staff was on hand to watch Philon, the No. 1 player in the state, and his Baker High School teammates beat Huntsville High at Auburn’s Team Camp. He and Bruce Pearl exchanged some laughs before the game while Philon warmed up.

AUBURN, Ala. (WTVM) - Indian Pines Golf Course will reopen to the public this fall with a completely redesigned and renovated course, along with a brand-new name. Indian Pines will become Pines Crossing when the golf course reopens this fall. The new name reflects a tie between old and new, maintaining some familiarity with the former name, while reflecting the course’s location on the line between Auburn and Opelika near the railroad tracks.
