Two SWAT teams activated in response to theft incident
STERLING, Colo. -- At about 5 a.m. Friday, February 16, Logan County, Colorado deputies were advised of an active theft in northern Washington County. Logan County deputies were able to locate the vehicle involved in the theft, with the stolen trailer, and car on the trailer, on Logan County Road 71. After observing a pursuit was initiated by Logan County deputies. The suspects fled to the 11000 block of County Road 71 where they drove through a ditch. The deputies were unable to drive through the ditch and circle back to the vehicle.
