Durant man injured in suspected DUI crash, OHP says
DURANT, Okla. (KXII) - A Durant man was taken to the hospital after a crash in Bryan County Tuesday night. According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the 65-year-old unidentified man was driving the wrong way down the southbound lanes of US-69 when he ran off the road and hit a concrete barricade.

DURANT, Okla. (KXII) -Every year the Durant Fire Department shows its appreciation by putting on a cookout for the Bryan County 911 dispatchers. “Because sometimes you feel forgotten, you’re the last person that they talk to on the phone, you’re the first person they call when they need something, you know, you kind of wonder sometimes and this just lets us know we are appreciated,” said Bryan Co. 911 Dispatcher Crystal Phillips.

Sentencing delayed for Denison musician in human trafficking case
DENISON, Texas (KXII) - Sentencing has been delayed for a Denison musician who plead guilty to human trafficking last year. James Stewart, 66, who is a local musician who regularly played at bars in Sherman, Denison and Durant, was originally set to be sentenced this week, but his court date was reset for June, according to court documents.
Coalgate traffic stops lead to drug seizures, arrest
COALGATE, Okla. (KXII) - Two traffic stops in Coalgate led to the seizure of a large amount of drugs. The Coalgate Police Department said they worked with the Choctaw Nation Lighthorse Police Department in one stop, where police seized some marijuana along with a baggie of green powder and about 20 colorful pills that police believed to be ecstasy laced with fentanyl after field testing.
