Arkansas sheriffs arrest man on kidnapping charges after high-speed pursuit
FAULKNER COUNTY, Ark. — On Friday, the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office arrested a man on multiple charges, including kidnapping. Sheriffs said they responded to a call around 3:30 a.m. for a possible kidnapping near Lake Bennett Road. When they attempted to perform a traffic stop on the suspect, John Aldridge, he led authorities on a high-speed chase on Acklin Gap Road.

Broadway World went Saturday, May 18, to see the amazing headliner Shane Thornton perform an hour-and-a-half set before everyone moved to the arena for the Atkins rodeo. It was perfect weather and tasty food with great friends and fabulous music on the stage. We had a blast!

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) has been awarded a grant of $2,024,546 from the state Commerce Department’s Office of Skills Development as part of the Arkansas Linking Industry to Growing Nurses (ALIGN) program. The grant was announced during a Monday press conference by Gov. Sarah Sanders, Ark. Dept. of Commerce Secretary Hugh McDonald, and Director of Ark. Workforce Connection Cody Waits.
