SHS Commencement this Saturday
The 129th Graduating Class of Stockton High School will receive their diplomas this Saturday, May 11th, at 2:00 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. The young ladies and gentlemen will walk into the school for the last time as a class to the traditional “Pomp and Circumstance.” Superintendent Sarah Armstrong will welcome family, friends, and the community to the event before the SHS choir performs its selection for the occasion, “A Million Dreams.”
SHS Baccalaureate next Wed., May 8th
Stockton’s Baccalaureate will be at the Nova Theatre on Wednesday, May 8th, at 7:00 p.m. The Stockton High School FCA is the sponsor of this event. The community is invited to the event, with refreshments provided by Fusion. (Look for the ad in this week’s edition.)
“Cabrini” to be shown at Nova Theatre this weekend
The St. Thomas Catholic Church, through donations by the Altar Society, Knights of Columbus and Parish Council, is sponsoring the movie “Cabrini” at the Nova Theatre in Stockton for this weekend, Friday, May 3rd, Saturday, May 4th, and Sunday, May 5th, at 7:00 p.m. each evening. The cost is $5.00 per ticket, and free for children 3 and under.
