Experience life as a pioneer child with unique hands-on opportunity
On May 25 from 11 a.m.-noon, children can experience what life was like as a pioneer child. At Frontier Village & Museum, kids can tour a real pioneer-era cabin and learn about what life would have been like for a child in the late 1800s. This interactive tour will give children a hands-on insight into early school life, simple childhood games and toys, farm chores and the struggles pioneer children faced.
