Mondovi honors four in college signing day ceremony
Four athletes from Mondovi High School have made their college futures official. The school held a signing day ceremony where coaches spoke about each athlete before they put pen to paper on their National Letter of Intent. Two athletes honored at the ceremony were Austin Remington and Peyton Snyder, who will each play football at Division III UW-La Crosse. Menomonie rallies in seventh inning to stun Wausau East baseball
WAUSAU – Menomonie scored five times in the top of the seventh inning to stun Wausau East and win Monday’s nonconference baseball game 6-3 at East High School. The Lumberjacks led 3-1 after six innings before Menomonie (8-10) scored five times thanks to an error, two walks and three-straight hits.

The Owatonna girls golf team traveled to The Jewel Golf Club in Lake City Wednesday afternoon to compete in the Jewel Invite. Chatfield had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs), and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday.
