Tennessee wildlife agency takes kids of fallen soldiers fishing
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) helped children of fallen soldiers have some fun on Percy Priest Lake Tuesday. The TWRA, in collaboration with the Percy Priest Hybrid & Striper Club, took children from A Soldier’s Child Foundation and fished at Elm Hill Marina. Todd Flannery, a veteran and part of the club himself, was proud to be a part of a peaceful day on the water.

Nashville third and fourth graders both saw modest gains in this year's English language arts scores on Tennessee's standardized test.
