School District budget not yet balanced
The Titusville Area School District is wrestling with a stubborn $285,000 proposed budget deficit, as work continues ahead of a June budget deadline. District Business Manager Shawn Sampson provided an update on the current condition of the in-progress budget proposal during the monthly committee meeting of the board of school directors, Monday. The proposal in its current form calls for tax increases for district residents in Crawford and Warren counties, paired with a tax decrease for northern Venango County.
