Police attempt to arrest Nicki Minaj in Amsterdam

Authorities at the Amsterdam airport attempted to arrest rapper Nicki Minaj for supposed drug possession, despite the artist’s repeated insistence that she was not carrying any contraband. One official said that they wanted to take the ”Super Bass” songstress into custody for “carrying drugs,” according to Instagram Live footage Minaj shared Saturday. “I’m not going in there. I need a lawyer present,” the 41-year-old replied. After some back-and-forth, Minaj appeared to step into the police vehicle – but not without asking about whether she would make her upcoming concert in Manchester, England. The officer said someone would “try to get [her] there” as soon as possible.
