Stevens Point surges past Wausau West baseball to stay unbeaten
STEVENS POINT – Stevens Point used a six-run third inning to pull past Wausau West 8-4 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference baseball game Tuesday at Bukolt Park. West led 3-1 after scoring twice in the top of the third before the Panthers (13-0, 5-0 Wisconsin Valley Conference) surged ahead with the big inning.
Pacelli and Amherst baseball split doubleheader, Cardinals win game two by 20 runs
WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WSAW) - Pacelli and Amherst would even out a double header Saturday morning in Wisconsin in a tale of two matches. In game one, the Falcons escaped with a 5-2 victory to start the day on a high note. Game two, however, ended earlier than anticipated with Pacelli steam rolling over Amherst with a 22-2 win in five innings. After that matchup, Pacelli would ultimately outscore Amherst on the day 24-7.

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Construction will start in the next few months on the new Valvoline Instant Oil Change in Wisconsin Rapids. A spokesperson from Valvoline told the Daily Tribune the company hopes to break ground on the new building early this summer and open the business by the end of the year. The spokesperson said the Wisconsin Rapids location will provide full-service oil changes along with a new service center that will offer tire rotations, windshield wiper blade replacements, air conditioning recharge services and more.
