The O’Neill FFA chapter in Holt County in the Nebraska Sandhills has kept busy the past couple of months. In January, we sent several of our members to the District 10 Leadership Development Events competition. The month of January was also spent preparing eleven of our chapter seniors to interview for their State FFA Degree and finalizing our proficiencies.

Wildcats hit the links in O’Neill
O’NEILL — Hartington-Newcastle headed west for a golf invitational April 18, when it traveled to O’Neill for the Eagles’ invitational. The Wildcats ended up 11th in the field of 14 after carding a team-total of 399. Ord won the title with a 348, O’Neill was second just one shot back, Neligh-Oakdale was third at 355, West Holt fourth at 359 and North Central was fifth with a 366.
Heine leads Trojans at O’Neill Invite
O’NEILL - Mav Heine found himself in the top 10 individually at the O’Neill Invitational after firing a team-best 87 over 18 holes to place ninth. The Trojans ended up sixth in the team race after carding a 378, Ord won the title with a 348, O’Neill was second just one shot back, Neligh-Oakdale was third at 355, West Holt fourth at 359 and North Central was fifth with a 366.
