Walmart Supercenter in Amarillo hosts re-grand opening to celebrate new ‘customer-focused features’

AMARILLO, Texas (KMR/KCIT) — The Walmart Supercenter on 3700 E. Interstate 40 was recently revamped and the store hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday morning to celebrate the supercenter’s expanded “customer-focused features,” Walmart officials announced.

Officials detailed that the supercenter welcomed the Amarillo community to the newly remodeled store on Friday. The supercenter also hosted a community event which included presentations of grants to Amarillo Area Casa and Boy Scouts.

Further, Glen Jones, store manager of the Amarillo Walmart and the Amarillo Police Department were also in attendance.
