Bowling Green community participates in Murph Challenge at Crossfit Old School

The Murph Challenge honors Lieutenant Micheal Murphy, a Navy Seal officer, who was killed in Afghanistan in June 2005 during a recon mission called Operation Red Wings.

Emergency responders pause efforts to remove vehicle from Middle Fork Drakes Creek
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Emergency services responded to a call on Duncan Road in Bowling Green for what was initially a water rescue. Warren County Emergency Management Deputy Director Travis Puckett confirmed to WBKO that it was not a water rescue. Though Bowling Green Fire Department was on the scene attempting to retrieve a vehicle that was submerged in Middle Fork Drakes Creek at the end of Duncan Road.
UPDATE: Three injured in multi-vehicle accident on Scottsville Road
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Three people were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident on Saturday afternoon in front of the Panda Express on Scottsville Road. Bowling Green Police Officer Andrew Kilbourne said it happened when one vehicle stopped on Scottsville Road to make a left turn onto Access Road E. He said that vehicle obstructed the view of a vehicle traveling straight on Scottsville Road, causing them to collide.
