Arkansas State Police investigating Franklin County death

ALTUS, Ark. ( KNWA/KFTA ) — Arkansas State Police are assisting the Altus Police Department in a death investigation.

According to a press release, Altus police were notified that Christina Steffen, 35, was discovered unresponsive in her home. When Altus police arrived, they found Steffen had died. The release says the Franklin County coroner confirmed Steffen’s death at the scene.

Steffen’s body was sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab to determine the cause of death. Arkansas State Police’s criminal investigation division is investigating the death.
