Monroe police investigate deadly shooting near Gayton Street
MONROE, La. (KNOE) - The Monroe Police Department is investigating a weekend shooting that killed one person on Saturday, May 18. MPD Officer Matt Schmitz says police responded to the 3900 block of Gayton Street regarding loud music. Once officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot injury on D’Arbonne and Owl Street.
