Forest family heartbroken after sudden loss of daughter, five years after loss of son
(WSET) — A Forest family is trying to pick up the pieces after they suddenly lost their second daughter and a beloved sister. According to the Drablos family, their daughter Katherine Anderson was jogging in a Chesterfield neighborhood when a car hit her and killed her. The Chesterfield County Police Department said this happened on Friday, April 26, at the intersection of Lucks Lane and Spirea Road just before 8:30 that morning.
Montvale shooting victim located
On Friday, April 26, The Bedford County Sheriff’s Office dispatched deputies to Ira Drive in Montvale for a reported shooting. The investigation determined Kulpreet Singh of Mechanicsburg, PA had gotten into an altercation with Colin Walker of the residence, produced a handgun and fired several shots at Walker. Walker left the scene prior to the arrival of the deputies. He texted his girlfriend stating he had been shot and was going to the hospital. The Sheriff’s Office made numerous attempts to contact Walker without success. Later that day, the Sheriff’s Office was contacted by a Roanoke area hospital and informed that Walker had been admitted with non-life threatening injuries.
