Weekly Safety Report: Tragic Boating Accident and Narcotics Arrest in Austin County, Texas
Two incidents occurred in Austin County, Texas this week. The first incident involved a boating accident on Lake Seminole near Sealy's Boat Landing, resulting in a tragic loss of life. The driver of the boat veered off course and collided with a stump, causing a passenger to be thrown from the boat. Despite efforts to retrieve the victim, they were unable to do so. The second incident involved a narcotics investigation in Bellville, where authorities arrested a 40-year-old individual after receiving complaints of cocaine being sold at a property on Coshatte Road. Cocaine and firearms were seized during a search of the location.
