Norfolk man killed in train-pedestrian crash in Potsdam
POTSDAM — A 41-year-old man is dead after he was struck by a CSX train while apparently standing with a bicycle on the tracks over the Raquette River this morning. At approximately 8:48 a.m., the Potsdam Police Department was notified that the northbound train had struck a bicycle on the train trestle adjacent to Sandstone Drive, also know as the bypass.
