Celebrate Heritage Day at the Red House Interpretive Center
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - Celebrate Heritage Day at the Red House Interpretive Center on Saturday, May 18. The annual celebration will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Organizers say there will be demonstrations of “crafts and trades of days gone by.” There will also be live music, mule jumping, blacksmithing, flint knapping and a black powder gun display.
Bollinger County to launch project to update 911 mapping
MARBLE HILL, Mo. (KFVS) - Bollinger County 911 will launch a Countywide GIS Remediation Project to update the 911 mapping. According to the City of Marble Hill, this update will be to improve 911 services throughout the county and the State of Missouri. The project is funded by grants using federal ARPA funds.

Once the sun goes down our rain chances will weaken and we will start Wednesday off under mostly cloudy skies. Wednesday will start cloudy but the sunshine should come out later in the afternoon.

Mississippi man injured in Scott County motorcycle crash
MINER, Mo. (KFVS) - A man from Mississippi was injured in a motorcycle crash in Scott County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash Reports, the crash took place around 12:40 p.m. on Sunday, May 12. The driver was going southbound on Interstate 55, three miles north of Miner, Missouri.
Bloomfield man seriously injured in single-vehicle crash
BLOOMFIELD, Mo. (KFVS) - A man is seriously injured following a single-vehicle crash in Stoddard County Saturday night. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash Reports, the crash took place around 7:24 p.m. on Saturday, May 11. The driver was going westbound on Highway AB, five miles north of Bloomfield.
