Notion Announces Release of New Artificial Intelligence Writing Assistant
Notion is a productivity software company that is most well know for their note-taking application.( Unsplash / NocolocoTeam) This Thursday, Notion's co-founder and CEO; Ivan Zhao, had announced via a press release the private alpha testing group for Notion AI. In the press release, he wrote a little glimpse of insight about where Notion gets inspiration. Zhao stated Notion HQ has a portrait of Doug Engelbart The reason, Zhao states, is because "he wrote about his vision for computers in his paper 'Augmenting Human Intellect: A Conceptual Framework' — they could be machines that had the power to help us solve problems, instead of being room-sized calculators and typewriters." Zhao also further went on to explain that Engelbart was a large part of the inspiration for him to found Notion.
