Nebraska State Patrol SWAT team makes arrest following standoff in Milford
LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol SWAT Team arrested a Milford man following a standoff overnight. At approximately 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, NSP was notified by the Milford Police Department of a situation involving an armed man who had barricaded himself inside his home. The situation began after the man reportedly pointed a firearm at officers while they conducted a welfare check at the 700 block of 5th Street in Milford. NSP Crisis Negotiators responded and the NSP SWAT Team was activated.

BNSF train derails in Bennet
BENNET, Neb. (KOLN) - A BNSF train suffered a minor derailment in Bennet on Monday evening. BNSF confirmed two locomotives and three railcars derailed around 6:20 p.m. on the west side of Highway 43 in the southern portion of the town.
