NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The threat of severe weather has increased for late Sunday night and early Monday morning in Middle Tennessee. The severe level threat now sits at 4 out of 5 for severe weather, or a moderate risk level, for parts of Davidson County including Nashville and areas to the northwest of the city.

MCEWEN, Tenn. (WSMV) – Tennessee authorities are warning drivers a fuel mix-up at a local gas station might have caused damage to their cars. Metro Council approves Safe Haven Family Shelter funding, highlighting families experiencing homelessness
This month, Mayor Freddie O'Connell and the Metro Council approved a resolution to give $436,400 from the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, through the Office of Homeless Services, to Safe Haven Family Shelter. This money is for the provision of hotel rooms across the Nashville area for emergency alternative shelter for families with children.

A second School Resource Officer from the Dickson Police Department is being recognized for helping a choking student by performing the Heimlich maneuver. Lt.
