Two vehicle crash at state Route 220 and state Route 32
At 1:21 p.m. deputies from the Pike County Sheriff’s Department responded to the report of an accident that occurred at the intersection of state Route 32 and state Route 220 where a car and a semi-tractor trailer collied. Pike County deputies on the scene and identified a female 27-year-old, Grace York of McArthur, who was operating a 2024 Kia. The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Portsmouth Ambulance, Piketon Fire Department, and Pike County EMA were all called to the scene to access the semi-tractor trailer driver and a 200-gallon diesel fuel leak from the truck. No serious injuries were reported, and Ms. York was self-transported to Adena Regional Medical Center for medical observation as a precaution.
