Town of Easton Celebrates Retirement of Town Manager
EASTON, Maine (WAGM) - The Town of Easton celebrated the retirement of a familiar face. After 13 years of serving the town of Easton, Monday was Former Easton Town Manager Jim Gardner’s last day on the job. With over 25 years municipal experience between Washburn, Ashland and Easton, Gardner announced his retirement at the beginning of the year with longtime clerk Cheryl Clark taking on the role as Town Manager.

Easton Schools Host Life-Flight Presentation
EASTON, Maine (WAGM) - An Easton graduate returned to his alma mater today to teach students about his career as a life-flight helicopter pilot. Karri Triplett has the story. Easton graduate Kirk Donovan is teaching these current Easton students about his career. As a life-flight pilot, he uses this helicopter to respond to medical emergencies and transport injured patients to the hospital quickly. In a very special show and tell, he landed his helicopter at the school with his life flight team, taking time to explain what they do to help save lives.
Former Washburn Officer Accused of Lying on Records in Mysterious Death of Arizona Man Found in Maine
The eerie case of an Arizona man found dead in Maine has taken a bizarre twist, as a former Washburn police officer stands accused of fudging police records tied to the man's disappearance. Erik Foote, a U.S. Army veteran reported missing since January 30, was identified as the body found near the Aroostook River, per the state medical examiner's office. As reported by Fox 10 Phoenix, the cause of death is still under investigation with results "pending" additional tests.

More Sunshine Expected Tomorrow, Shower Chances Return Late Weekend
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - Good Friday evening everyone! It was another beautiful day today with plenty of sunshine and temperatures near average. Of course the other greater story was the fact that we didn’t have much of a breeze present. That all came down to the state of our weather setup. High pressure remains the dominant force in control of our weather pattern through the first half of the weekend. But now, we don’t have a stronger system pulling to our east creating what we call a tight gradient as wind in simple terms is air moving from high to low pressure. We are keeping an eye on a system for you out in the Midwest that has been bringing some severe weather to that portion of the US. I am not expecting any severe weather as it comes into play here locally, but it will bring us a return to showers late in the weekend.
A Memorial Parade in Honor of Wesley Coty

After an 11-year-old boy died in late March, his classmates wanted to do something big to honor him. And they did, with a parade of more than 200 trucks belonging to community members going through the streets of Presque Isle today and a sea of orange.
