Manteca school lockdown related to student sought in connection to crime
MANTECA, Calif — Sierra High School in Manteca was temporarily put on lockdown Monday after a student ran from police. Sgt. Josh Gutierrez says a school resource officer was investigating a crime and was trying to find the student involved. The crime itself was unrelated to the school, but police didn't specify what it was.

TRACY, Calif. — A man wanted for a 2019 homicide in Tracy is back in the United States after being arrested in Mexico. According to Tracy Police, Antonio Flores-Cuellar was arrested Dec. 21, 2023, in Mexico. He was wanted for the 2019 shooting death of Andrea Cervantes in Tracy.
