8-year-old, 13-year-old siblings killed in house fire in Webster County
WEBSTER COUNTY, Ga. (WTVM) - According to the Webster County Sheriff’s Office, two young lives were lost in a house fire early Friday morning. The fire happened at 65 Dacus Street in Preston, Georgia at around 7:20 this morning. According to officials, the mother woke up to a fire that had broken out in the back bedroom. She told police she managed to escape, along with at least two children, but two other kids were still inside. The fire claimed the life of an 8-year-old and 13-year-old, who are siblings.
