Hannibal to commemorate Arbor Day with tree planting at Norfolk and Southern Multi-Sports Complex Friday
HANNIBAL, Mo. — The city of Hannibal is celebrating the designation of Tree City USA for 25 years. The Hannibal Tree Board and Hannibal Parks and Recreation will kick off the commemoration on Arbor Day by planting a tree at 1:30 p.m. on Friday April 26, at Norfolk and Southern Multi-Sports Complex.
Quincy man facing aggravated battery with deadly weapon charges after 77-year-old woman is stabbed
QUINCY — A Quincy man is in the Adams County Jail after he was arrested in Payson on Monday in connection with a stabbing incident on Sunday. An officer with the Quincy Police Department, who was at Blessing Hospital for an unrelated call, was approached at approximately 11 a.m. Sunday, April 21, by an elderly female who said she needed help. The 77-year-old female had been stabbed multiple times and had driven herself to the hospital.
