Max Hadfield’s 100th birthday
Max Hadfield will turn 100 years old on May 2, 2024. He was born in Grouse Creek, Utah on May 2, 1924, the eighth of ten children born to William and Grace Hadfield. After High School graduation, he served in the US Air Force during World War II and later served an LDS Mission to Texas. Upon returning to Logan, he married Marie Nielsen in the Logan, Utah Temple. They have been married for 72 years.

Bears baseball thumps Logan twice; third game of series postponed
The Bear River baseball team was all set to finish up the regular season on Friday, but the game was postponed due to rain. Still, the Bears managed to lock up a second-place finish in Region 11 with two easy victories over Logan earlier in the week.
