Annual trail work on ORV Route C in Ely, Humboldt Townships to begin Wednesday
MARQUETTE COUNTY, Mich. (WLUC) - The Iron Ore Heritage Recreation Authority (IOHRA) asks ORV trail users to practice caution on Route C this week as construction begins. Grading and shoulder work on sections of ORV Route C, which goes from Negaunee to Republic, will begin Wednesday in Ely and Humboldt Townships. The IOHRA said people using that section of trail should use caution when passing through, and be aware of heavy equipment on the trail. Trail users should yield to equipment operators and expect slight delays in travel.
