A helicopter crew recovered on Saturday the body of a climber who died after falling about 1,000 feet while on a steep, technical route in Alaska's Denali National Park and Preserve, park officials said in a statement.Robbi Mecus, 52, of Keene Valley, New York, died of injuries sustained in a fall Thursday while climbing a route on the southeast face of the 8,400-foot Mount Johnson, the park said. Queensbury, N.Y. — When she was pulled from the lazy river inside an Upstate New York water park last weekend, the 5-year-old girl wasn’t breathing, according to reports. Stacy Brayton, a paramedic, was visiting the Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark in Queensbury with her young son on Saturday when she saw people carry a child from the Tak-It-Eesi-Creek area, WNYT NewsChannel 13 reported. Remains found in Putnam believed to be woman dead for over 10 years
PATTERSON – Human remains found during excavation work at a property of a new home being constructed in the Town of Patterson do not belong to Robin Murphy, who has been missing for several years.
