Pelham man sentenced to over 15 years in federal prison on drug charges
MACON, Ga. (WALB) - A Pelham resident with a lengthy criminal history in Southwest Georgia was sentenced to over 15 years in federal prison on Tuesday, April 24. Skeeter Eugene Weeks, 41, was sentenced to serve 188 months in prison to be followed by four years of supervised release by a U.S. District Judge, according to a release. There is no parole in the federal system.

Montgomery County Deputies Arrest Man Wanted in Decatur County
(Red Oak) The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office arrested 48-year-old Timothy Lee Hutchinson of Decatur County in the 1700 block of Highway 34. Deputies transported Hutchinson to the Montgomery County Jail on a Decatur County Warrant for violating his probation. He is held on no bond and is awaiting extradition to Decatur County.
