Chief Rusty Dreher: Chestnut Street fire believed to have been accidental
COSHOCTON − A fire at a building being renovated as rental apartments is believed to have been accidental, according to the Coshocton Fire Department. Chief Rusty Dreher said the blaze was reported at approximately 11:41 a.m. Monday at 555 Chestnut St. Personnel arrived on scene to find a working fire in the second story and attic space of the structure. Newcomerstown council to reconsider family pool pass price after residents express concern
Five community members attended the May 6 Newcomerstown Village Council meeting to express concerns about the Cy Young Pool season pass price increase, which was approved at the April 1 council meeting. TUSCARAWAS COUNTY ‒ Two area highways damaged during flooding in early April have been awarded grants by the Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) through its discretionary Emergency Program. The agency awarded $359,550 to repair a road slip on Stillwater Avenue in Dennison. The highway carries Ohio 800 through town.
