Man dies after hit and run in Many, suspect arrested
MANY, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Police reportedly found a suspect washing away evidence after killing a man in a hit-and-run Tuesday night. According to the Many Police Department, officers responded to a report of a hit and run on Hwy 171 North around 10:28 p.m. When they arrived, the officers found a man lying on the edge of the turning lane with severe injuries. Despite EMS’s efforts to save him, he died at the scene.

NATCHITOCHES, La. (KALB) - The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office said they are investigating five overnight vehicle burglaries just south of Natchitoches. The vehicle burglaries were reported in the 100 block of Vienna Bend Road, the 100 block of Riverside Lane and the 100 block of Briarwood Court around 3:26 a.m.
Sabine Parish man accused of setting fire to occupied camper trailer
MANY, La. – A Sabine Parish man has been arrested on multiple counts after setting fire to a camper trailer with two people inside, State Fire Marshal Bryan J. Adams said. George Ebarb, 68, of Noble, was booked into the Sabine Parish Detention Center Saturday on two counts of attempted second-degree murder and one count of aggravated arson.

ZWOLLE, La. (KSLA) - Two people were injured in a shooting in Zwolle Friday afternoon (June 7). The Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office says is happened around 1:30 p.m. on Magnolia Street. Officials say they found a Chevy with numerous bullet holes in it and several shell casings on the street.
Natchitoches Juneteenth celebration set for June 15
NATCHITOCHES, La. - The City of Natchitoches is excited to host the 3rd Annual Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 15. The festivities will kick off at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center at 10 a.m. until noon with a Juneteenth Basketball Tournament. Attendees can enjoy a variety of activities, including Future Leaders, 1st Responders and a Celebrity Basketball Tournament.
