MADISON, Wis. — Brianna Saxer’s journey is marked by a haunting photograph of her wearing a pink tank top from 2005. For her, it’s more than just a picture; it’s a stark reminder of a difficult time in her life. “It was very, very hard,” Saxer...
Epic Systems is starting sixth campus, and it's from ‘Other Worlds’
Verona health records giant Epic Systems has broken ground on its newest campus, following approval this month from the city’s Plan Commission. In line with the fantastical designs of the existing buildings, the sixth campus, called Other Worlds, will draw inspiration from “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Chronicles of Narnia,” with a “floating forest” and plenty of references to elves.

Letter: Kudos to Verona
This past Monday I attended the Verona Area School District presentation of scholarship awards to several high school students of this year's senior class. During each of the presentations, I was moved by the ability of each student to focus on the curriculum subject matter for which they were being recognized. Each award came from Verona organizations, businesses, and citizens motivated to give back to the community by recognizing their accomplishments and potential for the future.
