Summer-like warmth to start the new week; mainly dry week ahead
TODAY: Sunny & Summer-like! Hi 87. TONIGHT: Partly Cloudy, Mild. Lo 60. TUESDAY: Partly Sunny, Warm, Evening T-Storms. Hi 86. This week will start summery with highs reaching the upper 80s today and tomorrow. This afternoon will especially be enjoyable with lots of sunshine and warm vibes. While dewpoints will be more elevated this week, it won’t feel THAT humid, so outdoor activities should be pleasant. Tonight will feature partly cloudy skies with lows around 60°. This week’s warmth is thanks to an expansive high-pressure ridge off the East Coast and a cold front draped across the Midwest. That front will bring the best chance of rain to the region by tomorrow evening. While most of tomorrow will be dry, showers and thunderstorms are likely to develop after 5pm Tuesday and continue into the overnight. Nothing severe is expected at this time, but brief heavy rain seems to be the main threat.
