Very warm weekend ahead with calm conditions before next week's showers
Temperatures are well above average with Saturday morning starting out in the mid to upper 60s. This under partly cloudy skies that will break up later in the day to reveal sunshine and allow temps to warm to the mid 80s for afternoon highs. Sunday will be very similar. Overnight lows will be in the mid 60s with highs warming into those mid 80s again.

Some isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms possible on our Thursday
We saw some very isolated showers at times in our area today. Most areas ended up with some abundant sunshine. We saw most of the area see temperature just a little above the normal for this time of the year. Most temperatures this afternoon were in the upper 70s to middle 80s. For the most part high pressure still dominated our weather, albeit those isolated showers were due to a weak front moving through our area.
Red Bay woman accused of attacking woman with hammer
RED BAY, Ala. (WAFF) - A Red Bay woman was arrested and charged with first-degree assault and first-degree burglary after allegedly attacking another woman with a hammer. According to Red Bay Police Chief Janna Jackson, Anna Allan entered the victim’s apartment on April 3, while the victim was in her bedroom. Shortly after the victim let her into her apartment bedroom, Allen closed the door and attacked her with a hammer.
