Isolated storms end this evening, but a few more possible tomorrow
PEORIA (25News Now) - A few showers and storms will be possible this evening and early tonight, but rain chances will end overnight. It’s not impossible for one or two storms to produce gusty winds or hail, but overall the severe weather risk is low. After any showers and storms end we’ll see clear skies overnight with lows in the low to mid 50s. Tomorrow’s weather won’t be too different compared to what we saw today. Expect lots of sunshine in the morning with a few stray showers or storms later in the day. Highs will be in the mid 70s.

EAST PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — An East Peoria home has significant damage after a truck crashed into it on Sunday. The crash happened around 5:15 p.m. on Bloomington Road. According to the East Peoria Fire Department, a full-sized pick-up truck veered off the road then crashed into a single-family home. Thankfully, no one was home at the time of the crash.

Peoria Heights investigates shots fired at Beck’s gas station
PEORIA HEIGHTS, Ill. (WMBD) — Officers are investigating an apparent Sunday afternoon shooting at the new Beck’s gas station on War Memorial Drive. There was an alert from the ShotSpotter gunfire detection system for eight round at about 5:40 p.m. that indicated eight rounds were fired. Historic Church celebrates its doors back open after vandalism attack
BLOOMINGTON (25News Now) - Four churches gathered today in Bloomington to celebrate the re-opening of Mt.Pisgah Baptist Church. Earlier this year, the church and six other businesses were targeted by vandals. One female was arrested for the incident.
