Initial hearing held for suspect in Meridian double homicide
MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) - Maurice Christie, 29, was charged with 2 counts of capital murder, as well as 3 counts of possession of controlled substances. Christie was denied bond at his initial hearing Tuesday in Meridian and has waived his preliminary hearing on all five charges. He will be jailed to await possible indictment by the next grand jury.
