Prelim scheduled for suspects in Hancock homicide
HOUGHTON, MI— A preliminary exam has been set for two people in connection with the December shooting death of a Hancock Township man. Alvin Kempainen, 87, was found dead of a gunshot wound in his house on Salo Road. Arrested were Jacob Kempainen, 21, and Margaret Kempainen, 50, of Harland, Wisconsin.
