Can we all just be honest with each other – Telluride is a dog town. I’m sure there are lovely tabbys, hamsters and parakeets, but our little piece of heaven, snuggled in the western Rockies was – and still is – a town full of pooch lovers. From trendy doodles of every sort, to the Heinz 57 variety mutts, we love canines in every size, shape, color and personality. I mean, seriously, when was the last time you saw a feline sleuthing around Columbia or yowling at night? I hear plenty of nocturnal owls and wolves, but no Sylvesters or Garfields.
