Kinston man arrested on fentanyl distribution charges
A 32-year-old man was arrested earlier this week on fentanyl distribution charges. The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit conducted a narcotics investigation on Zeke Lafferty of Kinston. As a result of the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued, consisting of four counts of trafficking opium/heroin and conspiracy to traffic opium/heroin.
Three Kinston men arrested after 6-month long investigation
KINSTON, N.C. (WITN) - The Kinston Police Department says after a six-month-long investigation, three men are behind bars facing drug trafficking charges. The police department’s Violent Crime Action Team closed an investigation into the distribution of crack cocaine with the arrests of three Kinston men: 53-year-old Robert Williams, 44-year-old Michael Fisher, and 47-year-old Perry Jones.

Man arrested for fentanyl possession following narcotics tip
KINSTON, Lenoir County — A Lenoir County man was taken into custody for possession of fentanyl following a narcotics tip. On Tuesday, April 23 Kinston officers located a man in a vehicle on the 500 block of E. New Bern Road after receiving a tip regarding drugs. Officers came in contact with Dustin Grady, 31 of Deep Run and used K9 Knox to assist in a search of the vehicle. Fentanyl and drug paraphernalia were located, according to authorities.
