84-year-old man found dead in pond at NYC golf course: cops
An 84-year-old man was found dead in a pond at a Bronx golf course on Friday afternoon, according to police. Police received a 911 call just after 2 p.m. for a water rescue after receiving reports of a man unconscious and unresponsive floating in the water at the Pelham Bay & Split Rock Golf Courses. An unattended golf cart was next to the pond, cops said. It’s unclear if he had been an active golfer who was using the cart, sources told The Post. New Jersey man turns himself in for attempted murder charge in October shooting
A second arrest has been made in connection to an alleged attempted murder that happened in Shaftsbury in Oct. Police say 29-year-old Matthew Osei, from Colonia, NJ, turned himself in on Friday. Osei was held without bail following his arraignment. He’s facing attempted murder charges, along with kidnapping, and aggravated assault.
