North Huntsville standoff ends after nearly 11 hours, suspect in custody
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — A North Huntsville standoff that lasted nearly 11 hours ended around 11:00am Wednesday morning. Madison County Coroner Dr. Tyler Berryhill has confirmed that the two people found dead suffered gunshot wounds. Both deaths have been ruled a homicide. No identities are being released until the family notifications have been completed.

Investigators say the pair walked into Haley’s Flooring and Interiors on Bob Wallace Ave. and started asking an employee questions about furniture. Thing is, police say they were not truly interested in that.
