LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - One man has been charged in the deadly shooting on Turner Road that happened on Friday. Multiple school bond proposals before mid-Michigan voters next week
In less than a week, voters will weigh in on bond proposals to fund renovations for multiple school districts in mid-Michigan. If approved, each millage would fund millions of dollars in improvements to school buildings. Those include plans to install new security cameras and secure entrances, upgrade heating and cooling infrastructure and construct new classrooms, administration buildings and athletics facilities.

HOLT, Mich. (WILX) - An informational meeting was held Friday with plans on how the money would be spent. The new bond would allow the school district to update plumbing, roofing and HVAC systems. It would also add two new school buses with security cameras and replace the district’s aging fleet. The bond would also fund school building improvements and facility upgrades.
