Former Unit 5 teacher pleads guilty to trespassing and assault charges in separate cases
A former Unit 5 elementary school teacher faces an 18-month conditional discharge after pleading guilty to criminal trespassing. Macon County court records indicate Jonathon Hovey, 52, reached a plea agreement in which prosecutors agreed to drop a felony charge of stalking and causing a person distress. Two weapons charges against Hover were also dropped.
