Agents out of the 29th Judicial District in Dyersburg along with investigators with the Dyer County Sheriff’s Office were serving an arrest warrant in Dyersburg around 8 p.m. this date. The subject had hidden himself in his house on 1st Avenue and agents made entry to make the arrest. While searching for the subject inside, a loaded rifle was found in the subjects bedroom. The subject who was on probation, had 9 prior felony convictions. A probation search conducted on the home resulted in the seizure of additional rifle magazines, a vest, handcuffs, a police baton, ammunition, police scanner, a red and blue light, and approximately 10 grams of suspected methamphetamine.
