Road closure scheduled for debris removal following recent flooding on Garden Isle
A portion of Kuli Road, between Kaumuali‘i Highway and Wawae Road will be closed this week to allow crews to remove debris following flooding earlier this month. The closure starts Wednesday and will go till Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a break from 11 a.m. to noon, weather permitting.

Portion of Kalena Park to close for construction
A portion of Kalena Park in Līhu‘e will be closed through May 13 for construction, weather permitting. The nonprofit Group Na Lei Wili Area Health Education Center is the sub-recipient of the Community Development Block Grant and was awarded over $259,000 to be used for playground replacement, replacing the chain link fence with concrete ball barriers, and adding parking stops.
